01 — About this policy
HeroBond: Co-op & PvP RPG (the "Game") is a real-time co-op and PvP arena RPG published by Ghostbyte Games ("we", "us", "our") on Google Play (com.herobond.app); an iOS version is planned. This policy explains what the Game collects and why.
HeroBond is an online game with accounts, leaderboards, and social features, so it collects more than a single-player game would — but we keep it to what running those features needs.
02 — What we collect
- Account & profile data. You sign in with Google. We store an account identifier, your display name, and the email address associated with your Google account. We never receive your Google password.
- Gameplay data. Progress, stats, hero levels, match results, and leaderboard standings — the data needed to run the Game and its ranked events.
- Communications & content. Chat messages and other content you send to other players, plus any reports you submit, so we can run social features and keep the community safe.
- Purchase data. When you buy in-game items, the transaction is processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of the purchase (not your full payment-card details).
- Device & technical data. Device type, OS version, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs, to fix bugs and keep the Game stable.
- Advertising data. The Game shows ads via Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising identifier and limited device/usage data to deliver and measure ads. See Advertising.
Ranked events reward players with in-game crystals and gold only — there are no real-money prizes.
03 — How we use it
- To run your account, save progress, and operate game features.
- To run leaderboards and events and grant in-game rewards.
- To operate chat and social features, and to moderate content, handle blocks and reports, and keep players safe.
- To process in-game purchases.
- To prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve the Game.
We do not sell your personal data.
04 — Advertising
HeroBond is free to play and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and IP address. You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). For how Google uses this data, see Google's partner policy.
05 — Chat & social features
HeroBond includes chat and other social features. Your display name and anything you post may be visible to other players, so don't share information you want to keep private. Chat is moderated; you can block or report other players, and we may review, store, and act on reported content (including removing content or suspending accounts).
06 — Third-party services
- Google Sign-In — to authenticate your account.
- Google Play — distribution and in-app purchases.

- Hosting & backend providers — to store data and run the game services.
07 — Children
HeroBond is intended for players aged 13 and older (or the minimum age required in your country) and is not directed to children under that age. We do not knowingly collect their data; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
08 — Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time on our account deletion page, or by emailing [email protected]. Data in transit is protected with TLS.
09 — Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email [email protected] and we'll help.
10 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
