Catch the Rabbit: Hide & Seek · Effective July 20, 2026

01 — About this policy

Catch the Rabbit: Hide & Seek (the "Game") is a hidden-object game published by Ghostbyte Games ("we", "us", "our") on the Apple App Store and Google Play (com.ghostbytegames.catchtherabbit). This policy explains what the Game collects and why. In short: we keep it minimal and anonymous.

No accounts. The Game has no login — no email, no password. It uses an anonymous, auto-generated profile ID and display name (for example, "Bunny1234"). We do not collect your real-world identity.

02 — What we collect

  • Usage & analytics data — gameplay events, an app-instance identifier, and device model / OS version, via Google Firebase Analytics, to understand how the Game is played and improve it. Not linked to your real identity and not used for cross-app tracking.
  • Crash & diagnostic data — crash logs and performance data, via Google Firebase Crashlytics, to fix bugs and keep the Game stable.
  • Advertising data — device identifiers used only for ad frequency capping and fraud prevention, via Google AdMob, to show non-personalized rewarded-video ads. See Advertising.
  • Purchase data — purchase history for the optional "Remove Ads" subscription, processed via RevenueCat and Apple / Google billing, to activate and restore your subscription. Tied to the anonymous app-user ID, not your identity.
  • Game data — your anonymous profile, game progress, carrots, and leaderboard display name, stored on our game server (catchtherabbit.ghostbytegames.com) over HTTPS, to save progress and run leaderboards and PvP. No personal information.

03 — What we don't collect

The Game does not collect your real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or any other sensitive personal data. We do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

04 — How we use it

  • To run the Game — save progress, leaderboards, and PvP.
  • To understand gameplay and improve the Game (analytics).
  • To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
  • To show non-personalized ads and prevent ad fraud.
  • To process and restore the optional Remove Ads subscription.

05 — Advertising

The Game shows non-personalized rewarded-video ads through Google AdMob. We do not track you across apps, and on iOS we do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Ad identifiers are used only for capping how often you see an ad and for fraud prevention. You can remove ads entirely with the optional "Remove Ads" subscription.

06 — Third-party services

We rely on these providers, each under its own privacy policy:

07 — Children's privacy

The Game is family-friendly and rated 4+, but it is not directed to children under 13 for data purposes and is not part of the Apple Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and all ads are non-personalized. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

08 — Data retention & security

We collect minimal, anonymous data and keep it only as long as needed to run the Game and its services. Data in transit is protected with TLS 1.2+ (TLS 1.3 where available). Because there are no accounts, there is no personal profile to expose.

09 — Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, delete, or opt out of certain processing of your data. Because the Game is anonymous, email us at [email protected] and we'll help — you can also reset analytics/ad identifiers in your device settings, and remove ads via the subscription.

10 — Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
